The Septum Confederation

General Information

The Septum is separated into different regions of influence throughout the lands of the Aliech continent. They all have their own individual familial houses, regions of influence, and their own mage towers. However, they all play a part in running the capital of the Septum Confederation known as Un'li.   Within the Septum Confederation, all of the Septums retain territories of their own within their familial towers. The lands of Un'li are considered a neutral ground where all families are permitted within certain restrictions to place their influences on. There are lesser notable mage families who retain their own standings in the region and reside in the Grand Mage Tower. While they are not as influential as the Septum, united they pose a significant part of the magical community within Un'li.   Each house has individual sectors of power in its industry.

House Vashkia

  Focus: Transmutation
Septum: Aithris Ath Vashika the Fourth
Ward: Infrastructure and Housing   To reach heights not feasible by modern standards, the Vashkia family pride themselves on the pillars that they stand upon. Many civilizations have fallen before from the fact that they lacked one thing. A barrier. The Vashkia family believes that through an impenetrable wall, lies the ultimate offensive stratagem. As the creators of the protective Alchemic Spires within Un'li, they govern their focus to defend the lands of Un'li via their structural defenses. Additionally, they are the leaders in developing roads, bridges, and general infrastructure within the confederation.

House Morden

  Focus: Conjuration
Septum:Mu'al Morden
Ward: Teleportation, Summoning Services   To utilize the Warp is the one true desire of House Morden. A concept of teleportation that any may utilize no matter the size or number is one thought to be an impossibility for many years. However, the Morden family thinks otherwise. The simple fact of teleportation of a single person is more than enough proof that it can be accomplished. They have invested a great deal in magitech known as Mana Gates, a proof of concept utilizing teleportation for any individual regardless of their magical potential. They are the only family that has the capability to produce and sell teleportation spells publicly. While they give services for teleportation for individuals and goods, they are limited and exclusive to a select few individuals.   They are additionally known for their summoning services for laborious tasks and acting as defensive liaisons.

House Towari

  Focus: Divination and Abjuration
Septum: Engan Towari
Ward: Consulting Services, Farming   Heralded for its keen foresight, House Towari is proudly known for its ability of premonitions. Samples of their works can be seen in all various settlements throughout the Septum Confederation's farmlands for their seasonal crop yields, weather predictions, and most prominently, disaster premonitions. It is said that without the insight of the Septum of House Towari, the casualties from the Fell Star Incident may have been far greater than what it caused on that day.

House Anaris

  Focus: Necromancy
Septum: Serita Anaris
Ward: Healthcare   The law of balance between Life and Death is one that House Anaris teeters cautiously around. While necromancy is heavily frowned upon in the regular sense of most individuals, many fail to realize that the concept of necromancy is fundamentally flawed. Sources of rejuvenation such as health potions, and rituals of uprooting undead are but one and the same. Many of their members are shunned by the majority of society, but the minority realizes their actual potential in contributing to developing society. Many if not all healthcare clinics are under House Anaris, or has some links tied to it.

As their house embodies the symbology of the flames in their lives, they have made it their purpose to harness, comprehend and control the potent energy of the sun itself. Embodying flames into their own bodies, those of House Flammen either incorporate symbology in their sigils or alter their appearances to further kindle their embers.

House Endor

  Focus: Enchantment, Illusion
