Brisckarin has suffered through multiple calamities over the ages. It has survived being nearly brought to ruin on several occasions. The people of this city have suffered through millennia of the most oppressive occupations Traith has ever seen..
Serving as a trading outpost for several of the local races prior to its official founding founding in 971 AM. By the time "The Shattering" happened it had grown to become a large city. Brisckarin was nearly wash away by the tidal wave produced by that event but. Determined the people of the city band together and rebuilt bigger and stronger. They built a wall across the bay to prevent similar disasters in the future.
Over the course of time Brisckarin became a metropolis as it prospered from its imports and export industries as well as being a popular tourist destination. Many of the cities visitors became so enamored with it that they decided to take up residence. The population of Brisckarin surged once again with more people arriving seeking work in the many thriving industries.
On 1/16/6331 The Siege of Brisckarin began. For six months the dead walked ashore and dragons reigned death from the sky. They watch as the blood of their loved ones filled the streets many times. The brave citizens of this great city fought day in and day out to defend their home. On 6/46/6331 the city of Brisckarin fell and the occupation began.

On the 26th of Dromaul 6489 a group of rogue Elven Grand Mages from Aaremberlin used an ancient elven ritual to drain the life from the continent of Toroum. This ritual devastated the once lush and beautiful landscape rivers dried up crops died, and the forrests withered. This group unleash a blight upon the continent of Toroum the likes of which Traith had never seen.
For thousands of years the people of Brisckarin endured the oppression of the Lord Tyrant Gluxdroon divine hand of Zarpurazz.
Brisckarin has evolved through the ages to become the largest port city on the continent of Toroum and possibly all of Traith..The people of Brisckarin are strong and proud yet reserved. They have persevered through the ages and endured more than any other standing city.
