The Grand Cathedral of the Eight Brothers
The Grand Cathedral of the Eight Brothers is located in the in the port city of Brisckarin on the continent of Toroum. It was the first temple to be consecrated in the name of the Eight Brothers on Traith shortly after the liberation of Brisckarin. This building was previously a temple dedicated to the now fallen god Zarpurazz. The avatars of several of the Eight Brother purged the dark energies of Zarpurazz and blessed grounds in their names. They did this as a symbol of hope for the citizens of Brisckarin and the rest of Toroum that the reign of the tyrannical regime would soon come to an end.
Purpose / Function
The Grand Cathedral is the epicenter of growing belief in the pantheon of the Eight Brothers on Traith.
The Cathedral is dedicated to the pantheon as a whole but has eight individual temple connected to it each dedicated to one of the brothers.
Architecture
The Grand Cathedral is the tallest structures in Brisckarin. It was originally constructed of simple stone brick but has been renovated at least twice since its initial construction over three thousand years ago. The last and most luxurious of the renovation was shortly after its consecration to the Eight Brother. The temple now has eight entrances with double doors each one having an ornate holy symbol of one of the Eight Brother. As the main structure climbs above the cities skyline seven smaller towers jut off at different height intervals.
Tourism
Since the Cathedrals conversion to the Eight Brother its has become a sight of pilgrimages for the growing number of worshipper of the pantheon. Some of these religious pilgrims have traveled from as far away as the Kingdom of Tepth to pay homage on the grounds where the avatars once stood and Draxx bestowed blessing upon several people. The economy of the port city of Brisckarin has seen a surge like never before which has only given the residents even more reason to flock to the temple offer their faith to the pantheon.
