Dinas Emrys

Located on a much smaller floating island, connected to Twin Suns island, and right in the middle of Port Atlantica, is the well preserved fortress of Dinas Emrys. This castle, belonging to mythical Merlin, is now the headquarters of the island's first superhero team. The Atlantica Aegis!   Reaching the castle is difficult to those without flight, save for the team and those invited who have access to a stone archway located in the park that activates to form a portal.   The fortress, while having every appearance of a medieval castle on the outside and even many of the walls are bare stone on the inside, has been reinforced through magic and is far more durable than its stone block appearance would suggest. It likewise comes with all the modern amenities needed such as electricity, heating, lighting, and high speed wi-fi thanks to Merlin keeping up with technology and creature comforts over the years.

Central Spire

The centre of Dinas Emrys connects to all other parts of the castle, and travels up the large centre tower of the castle. This tower is the heart of the headquarters and all but the Meeting Chamber is open to all inhabitants of the castle.
Meeting Chamber.
Located in tallest and most central tower of Dinas Emrys, with a round table with enough chairs for all members of Aegis and windows looking out in every direction to survey Port Atlantica. Each chair is marked with the symbol of a member of the team. Two staircases and an elevator lead down into the rest of the castle.
Mess Hall.
A room filled with tables and connected to a well stocked kitchen. Members of Aegis and the other inhabitants of the castle are welcome to full use of both rooms and all supplies located within.
Rec Room.
A large open space with plush carpet over hard wood floors. A large televison is connected to a few different media devices including sattelite TV, movie players, and video game consoles A simple bar sits off to one side that remains well stocked by the castle's hidden staff.

Western Wing

The Western Wing is mostly dorms and public amenities, it is open to all inhabitants of the castle. Though individual rooms have their own locks.
Dorms.
The western wing is largely made up of dorms, 20+ of them of various sizes and layouts with some made for couples or even whole families. Most unlived in ones are very spartan in decoration and furniture, but the more lived in ones often fit the needs of their residents.

Eastern Wing

The eastern wing is restricted area to only members of Aegis and those they trust to allow access. Here the structure is sleek and reinforced, but not painted.
Armoury.
Though once it held medieval armour and weapons, the armoury has been modernized to hold the gear for one Andrea DuBois and her order of the Cog and Sword. This includes dedicated space for maintenance and storage of the mech 'The Fleur De Lis', and a way to launch it out of the castle.
Security Storage.
As Merlin claims the castle dungeon was long ago destroyed, a portion of the Eastern wing was dedicated to holding any prisoners that Aegis might take. Rooms are magically reinforced and can hold most metahumans, but greater enchantments can be created if the need arose to hold more powerful beings. Likewise some rooms hold dangerous weaponry.
The Grindstone.
The castle holds the entrance to a pocket plane created by Avrina to be used as a training space for members of the team. The plane is divided into three rooms descrimed as the 'Room of Room' and the 'Field Room'. One for indoor spaces and one for open areas respectively.. Each room uses a mixture of real matter and illusions to create simulations of locations. While the third room is a waiting room.   The Grindstone requires an Oath of Consent as a safety measure, and teleports out users should they be in danger. Several non-sapient entities are kept to practice against, such as Mindless Ones and Elemental beings.

Dungeon

Though Merlin claims the castle dungeon was destroyed long ago, it was only blocked off from the rest of Dinas Emrys. Instead the castle is secretly used for his second, more lethal team, the Atlantica Errant. Errant uses their own individual portal archway to enter and leave this part of the castle.
The Dragon's Grave.
The cavernous space that was one the pit the Red and White dragons were burried in long ago before the construction of this castle. The skeleton of the original White Dragon remains to this day. Magical torches line the walls and provide lighting, and in the center of the room is a round table to match the one used by Aegis far above.
