Scions of Eight
The progeny of the eight headed, eight tailed, serpent Yamato no Orochi. Though the gang's true nature went unknown for years, they have been involved in Japan's criminal underworld for generations, often offering their services as assassins and accepting tribute both in coin and with living maidens. At first they were thought to be practitioners of dark arts, later as a house of meta-humans. Now it is known that they carry the blood of dragons in their veins.
The Scions of Eight are Orochi's grandchildren and their children, as the dragon has long killed any of his direct offspring for being treacherous or too powerful. As such while each Scion possesses speed and strength beyond that of ordinary humans, they have a hard limit based on either their grandfather's paranoia or their own aspirations when they start to feel they might be a match for the old serpent.
Orochi himself went unseen by outsiders to the Scions for years, a mysterious grandmaster. Though actions of other dragons on Earth have forced him to become more involved.
In Atlantica they have largely kept their actions limited to the East Pierside and surrounding districts. Largely they have avoided any direct conflict with other gangs of the East Pierside, in a very draconic way not seeing human gangs as something to fight over territory with. Some young women have gone missing since their arrival, perhaps as sacrifices to Orochi.
