Darwy
"Welcome to Darwy, a small village located within an ancient stone circle in Olorlay. Feuding clans reside nearby, but the villagers of Darwy have found refuge in their unique location. Surrounded by small farm fields and built within an old stone circle, the village has its own legends and stories about the stone circle's origins and purpose.
Darwy is a small, close-knit village located in the heart of the Olorlay stone circle. The village is home to just under 80 people, mostly farmers and craftsmen who work together to keep the village running. The houses are simple, made of wood and stone, with thatched roofs and small gardens for growing herbs and vegetables. The village is surrounded by small farms and pastures where the villagers keep their livestock and grow crops such as barley, wheat, and oats.
At the center of the village lies the large flat stone, which serves as the village square and gathering place for festivals and celebrations. The villagers believe that the stone circle offers them protection against the outside world, and it is considered to be a sacred place. The village Elder is responsible for maintaining the village's connection to the circle, and they often lead ceremonies and rituals at the stone circle.
There are a few other buildings of note in Darwy, including a tavern where travelers can rest and share stories, and a small shrine to the local god of the harvest, which is tended by the village's priest. The villagers are generally friendly and welcoming to outsiders, but they are fiercely protective of their traditions and way of life, and will not hesitate to defend themselves and their home against any perceived threats."
