Oozemaster

Oozemaster is the title given to workers who manage the health and behavior of Oozes, especialy Sanitation Ooze. This biologic aide to mange sewer systems allows for a cleaner smell to sewer systems (at least for those in the city above) and faster processing of the waste. While after the disasters of the last hundred years there are fewer Ooze managed sewers and fewer qualified Oozemasters. Oozemasters today are often just apprenticed, though more formal edducation was performed in past times.
Some Oozemasters try to go adventuring, specifically looking for new and unusal permutations of Oozes. These practitioners are considered even odder and smelly than their normal kind.

Social Status

They are admired for their ability to keep sewers clean and well running. However they are often admired at a distance as it is a smelly job and requires long hours in the dank, dark and smelly places of the city.

Almost exclusively men, and typically those already somewhat antisocial.

A variety of ooze rods are essential. The ooze rods release magical effects that either attract, slow, or repel oozes. This allows the oozemaster to move Sanitation Oozes  through the infrastructure to get the oozes where they need to go.
The other thing they all use are long pole hooks and thick full covering clothing.

Dangers & Hazards

Disease or being eaten by the Oozes. As Oozes are carriers to disease while being unaffected, they need additional vegetation besides human waste to prevent going foul. Oozemasters also know a bit of interesting trivia; Oozes can digest persons and in so doing remove a Llyewn Tattoo allowing the resultant skeleton to be animated later. This is due to the fact that it is the only known way to remove a tattoo item and it's residue completly. It is unknown if such an absorbed tattoo can prevent the reanimation of an Ooze, partially because undead oozes are rare or some sages postulate it isn't even possible.
