Dog

A diverse species of canines, often domesticated for various roles from companionship, guarding of home or livestock, pulling sledges or carts, hunting, rat-catching, and therapeutic or disability-related assistance.  

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Dogs are usually found in settled areas populated by sapient humanoids. A dog living in a humanoid home is a pet. A dog used to humanoids but not belonging to any is a stray. A dog that lives outside humanoid society and unused to them is feral.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Dogs are carnivorous, but can digest most kinds of food without much trouble. However, some foods are toxic and will cause poisoning if eaten.

Behaviour

The only thing each breed of dog has in common is that they are all very good boys and girls.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Dogs can tell when you're a bad person. They just can. They also know when you're sad, and when you need to go to a doctor.
