Hard Fabric
Hard fabric is really cool stuff! It's always different every time you find it, and always a bit weird. The one that stands out to me is the old Axedull tree since it's the first one i ever visited. It's this old tree that sits in the middle of its island where the starstone would usually sit, bigger than any tree you've ever seen. It's immune to any kind of damage breaking any axe that hits it, even the thin and delicate leaves on it stay intact through anything you can throw at it. To my knowledge, there's only one of this tree in all the worlds, I wonder where it came from.Hard fabric is a class of material that unlike, common fabric, is not made of any smaller components. Even at the smallest of scales, no smaller parts could be found in it, this makes it uniquly resistant to damage. It's very rare but objects made from it are occasionally found, one of the most culturally significant being the Prysfayn which holds immense significance to the Fae. Most notably, nayurans are formed mostly from this hard fabric.
Properties
Material Characteristics
Hard fabric seems to be able to take on pretty much any form, though most commonly is an unbreakable hard material that feels similar to glazed ceramic. Other hard forms have been described as feeling like wood or rock, though still retaining the unbreakable trait.
There is also instances of hard fabric that is soft and pliable. These particular types are notable for being able to be cut, but not severed from the whole object they are a part of and being able to reform into it's original shape by simply being left to rest. This softer hard fabric makes up the "flesh" of nayurans.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Hard fabric objects almost always seems to hold some kind of magic.
For example, the Prysfayn holds a magic that calls out to nearby fae that approach it drawing each individual to a unique point on its surface that resonates with them.
Nayurans also contain a magic within each individual granting elemental abilities to them that may be granted to others as they wish.
Life & Expiration
Hard fabric doesn't degrade nor can it be permanently damaged.
The shadowy sludge that wiped out most of the nayurans and their homeworld has been shown to be able to seemingly strip softer hard fabric that makes up the flesh of nayurans leaving only their hard bones, though discussions with the remaining members of the species have suggested this may be reversible, suggesting that it's not actually destroyed by this process.
