The Sept of Ill'Ghact
The Sept is a secret society of Mind Flayers -- slavers, predators, and breeders under the control of Methil El-Viddenvelp.
The Sept of Ill'Ghact is a sinister force in the Underdark that operates in near total secrecy. Few know about this hidden society of illithids, and fewer still know its reach and ambitions. Keeping its secrecy is vital since the illithids in this faction have many foes throughout the Underdark. In particular, the drow of Menzoberranzan would crush the sept if they knew of its existence. The illithids move in secrecy while they gather their strength. Their psionic ability is a growing menace that could one day threaten the City of Spiders.
The Sept has a long standing relationship with House Oblodra. Both Slies T'Druis Oblodra and his father, Kimmuriel Oblodra, have been infected with mind flayer tadpoles. In order to Save Kimmuriel, Bregan D’aerthe will need to figure out how to Stop Ceremorphosis.
