The year is 1492 DR. It has been 134 since the fall of House Oblodra. The Psions unite in Waterdeep before taking on a job for Bregan D'aerthe.   Slies, the youngest survivor of the fall of House Oblodra, was given a dark and cryptic quest by his cold and alien father. His own recently acquired psionic abilities failed to shield him from his father's instructions.   Otho, a low ranking private in Bregan D'aerthe, meets in secret with Laeral Silverhand, the Open Lord of Waterdeep to deliver a letter for Jarlaxle, after reading it for himself first. He hopes to impress the faction's leadership.   Nymdor, the swashbuckler, having recently returned from a mission to acquire a submarine of Lantanese design, leaves his fellow sailors behind to explore life ashore. The submarine carries explosive smokepowder.   Gurren, the talented, eyes his potential rival, Three Strings, during a performance aboard The Hellraiser. Ever searching for sources of information about this new world, he considers his next move.   Aboard the Heartbreaker, Jarlaxle reunites the Psions of House Oblodra. The men have not seen each other since childhood and hardly recognize one another. Each has spent exile alone, but now they are back together. Jarlaxle asks the Psions of House Oblodra to meet Volo at The Yawning Portal and complete a job for him in exchange for a piece of commercial property in Waterdeep. It will be Breagan D'aerthe's first foothold in the city.   While waiting for Volo at The Yawning Portal, a troll and a bunch of Stirges came out of the well and attacked the bar patrons. Durnan killed the troll. The party chose to act very subtly during combat to not draw attention to themselves.   Volo asked the party to find his friend Floon who had been mistaken for Lord Renaer Neverember and kidnapped by the Zhentarim. Volo feels guilty for leaving his friend without making sure he had made it home. The Party went to The Skewered Dragon to track down Floon. The clues lead them to a Zhenarim Warehouse where Lord Renaer Neverember, who was being held captive by Kenku. Floon had been taken by the Xanathar Guild.   The Psions of House Oblodra followed chalk markings in the sewers to find a Xanathar Guild Hideout. They defeated a few guild members and rescued Floon. However, an illithid named Nihiloor escaped the conflict. Volo rewarded the party with the deed to Trollskull Manor. The party is expected to use this business as a front. Jarlaxle has assured the Psions of House Oblodra that they will not be responsible for the day-to-day business of running the tavern.

• Bregan D'aerthe is working towards getting the city of Luskan into The Lord's Alliance.
