Laurette Achelle was the mistress of the Temple of Pleasure in the city of Vesper, when it was a place of mystery, excitement and dubious political morality, tainted by hints of the corruption of an old Enclave in the early Foundation Age.
Together with Din Stralek and Raisa Solenski she plotted the demise of Pious Rain, Cimarine Dalaux and Inbar Ull, an infamous incident known as the Whispers in the Evening.
