Princess Beatrice
Princess Beatrice was the second daughter of Emperor Myrold II of the Old Pale Empire, but also the first legitimate one, since her elder sister Princess Acetta was born out of wedlock.
Initially, by all accounts, she strove to keep out of the succession struggle triggered by her younger sister, but was almost inevitably drawn into the conflict as the War of the Three Sisters escalated rapidly.
When the armies loyal to her cause were defeated, she was tried and executed by Princess Acetta on 21st Pruth, 2829 BPC. The Empress is said to have wept at the necessity of the stern judicial judgement, which she called "the price of Empire" but she did promise that Beatrice's son would have the throne after her own death.
