The Limit Princes
The Limit Princes are the seven rulers of the chaotic realms of the Limit Lands. In a state of constant war with one another, they squabble over their own domains but also cast a covertous eye on unlucky Evolutions which come close enough to their geometry to be susceptable to invasion. It is their current conceit to masquerade as human renaissance princes playing Machievalian games. This suits their proximity to the local evolutions where their geometry has strayed, but in truth their origins lie in more remote regions of the Discontinuum and they do not always maintain an accurate human morphology, either from carelessness or from deliberate slippage into more primal forms.
During the age known as the Limit Protectorate on Magicians' End, Prince Rygarde successfully invaded and controlled the realm for a short period, before the Loyalist Thaumatic Army Council successfully defeated and exiled him. This was a very dangerous incursion and it was only defeated with great difficulty.
In recent times, a surprising alliance of three of the bothers have gained access to Magicians' End again. Here they manifest themselves and their agents as demi-gods and are seeking to take control of the realm in a less direct manner, much to the concern of the Stability Council.
