Biomancer

History

When Kios was still whole, the city of Syndros was charged with preserving nature, which was already in a death spiral. The vast, ever-growing population, which cared about nothing but themselves, soon ensured they failed in their original objective. But from this setback arose a new opportunity, and a new purpose: creating a new natural order to replace the one that had been taken away. This unique nature would be better and more robust, able to coexist and thrive alongside the now-entrenched Kios civilization. Many residents of the newly founded island of Amaranthine only want to use their knowledge to enhance the world they live in.

This drive for knowledge and experimentation led to the rise of a radical group of scientists known as the Biomancers who are willing to do anything to advance their scientific endeavors.
