Kindred

Kindred is a diety that was once the guardian of an ancient Northern End tribe. She's a Mana Sprite that was given manifestation at the prayers of the ancient tribe's chieftain during a catastrophic conflict. Kindred formed a pact with the nameless chieftain, for as long as he shows devotion and love to her and to his tribe, he will rule as an almighty leader. However, the nameless chieftain became overzealous in his warring conquest, and was forsaken by his beloved Kindred, leading to his demise.

Many decades later, Magnar Umbranos would stumble upon the worshipping shrine that was built for Kindred during the ancient times. Kindred, longing for the feeling of being loved, offered a pact to Magnar similar to the deal she made with the chieftain; so long as Magnar loves her and his fellow warriors, he will rule as King for the ages to come.

Background

Kindred was created as a Mana Sprite by the powerful influence of the World Mana Tree and the Elder Gods. Like many Mana Sprites, Kindred roamed the world to learn more about the mortal lives that inhabited the land. She ended up in the cold continent of Northern End, where she observed how the inhabitting tribes fought against the elements and enemy tribes.
