Twin brother of GAILAYA CEDARUS and Heir to CEDARUS. While Benath was the second to arrive, his family's strictures about female family heads places him in line for the title. This has not resulted in much of a change in the relationship between the twins nor in his future plans which would involve knighthood regardless of inheritance.

Both BENATH and his sister were not sent out as Pages but received their education at the Sointalle Monastery. They returned the previous Fall and have been working hard to polish their etiquette and rituals.
