The matriarch-knight of the MANTYN line for the past thirty years, SERA DELENNE has been a strong and loyal blade on DAWN's western border and south coast. She was knighted late in life after proving her mettle warding the southern coast and border marauders. Now she refently turned fifty years of age and has been slowing down over the past few years allowing her other children to step up.
SERA DELENNE has overseen her family through trouble and tragedy aplenty. Her father and mother were slain in separate raids and her brother, Berand Mantyn the preceding Knight-Heir, was also slain by CUTH raiders in 28 ET. This required DELENNE to assume the responsibility at a young age and she had not entered the chivalric tradition of squiring--instead pursuing the life of a young lady in the South.
She acquired skill in battle and blood through training and fending off CUTH raids along the southern coast. She was knighted by the EORL OF THE DAWN in 41 ET. It was granted in recognition of her skill and courage over the past decade and more in warding the borders and coasts of DAWN. By then, she had led her family for over ten years.
