The EMERULE were an old Rhuani family placed here as a strong, conservative hand on the more 'reckless' families of the Fingers. Over time, this distinction has been erased and there have been a number of non-Rhuani spouses in their lineage. The Emerule have historically been vocal supporters of the Throne but the present Lord has been far more circumspect.
