The KIRNDEYR family is a recent addition to RHAEMOR's vassals. The KIRNDEYR line is from the northern MIDLANDS but lost their holdings there over a half a century ago. The intervening generations made their way as mercenary knights. SER ARVEL KIRNDEYR reversed that with his service to the usurper HIGH LORD DREVHIDIR. For his loyalty and skill at arms, the KIRNDEYR family was restored as landholding nobles in Rhaemor. The manor lands on which they hoist their banner were carved off from the Modira family lands and there remains bad blood.

With the Usurper overthrown as a result of the Vammarian Return, the KIRNDEYR family was able to keep their lands and title under their new pennath, Arol Vammar.
