The MODIRA family line has been in the Midlands serving one noble or another for nearly two hundred years. While LORD EGYL is proud to repeat the tales focusing on loyalty and bravery from individuals, it is also obvious that LORD EGYL's days of glory are not returning anytime soon. The current family head, Lord Egyl Modira, has done little to jeopardize his position with HIGH LORD DREVEDHIR. This has allowed Lord Egyl's family to continue in his son and daughter.

While the MODIRA lands are distant from the center of Rhaemor, that quality comes with a sizable stretch of coast that their family is required to safeguard against raiders and the like.
