Saerid Aldyr, the 2nd son of the Lord Aldyr, would have claimed the title in the flight from Rhuvael in 23 ET. At that time, his father, Lord Palos Aldyr had been slain on the walls. The rest of the family were sheltering in a tower when it collapsed under siege engine bombardment. It is often whispered that he managed to secure maritime transport away from Rhone. Rumors of sightings are often passed along but nothing has ever come of them as the those reporting likely could not even describe him at the time of flight; let alone thirty years later.
The remainder of the ALDYR family perished in the retaking of Rhuvael.
