Former LADY THEOWAIN and mother of Lord Aranard Theowain as well as his half-brother, Ser Eradon of Theowain. When her husband, LORD ERIDAR THEOWAIN, joined the Queen's Crusade she was left alone with the infant, ARANARD. She gave birth to ERADON late in 1 ET and managed to stifle any gossip about his parentage despite the late birth for nearly nine years. It was then discovered that she had engaged in an affair with one of the family's Sworn Knights, Dathys of Turia--who was ERADON's true father.

SALDA was sent away and confined to the House of St. Ceresia. She eventually took her oaths and adopted orders whereupon she served as a Sister until she passed away in 31 ET.
