Broveron Family
The Broveron Family is one of the six ruling houses of Reishi Island. They are considered to be one of the lesser families, just above Andires. The Broveron family manages the defense of Reishi island.
Structure
The Broveron Family is a small one, with only two known members: the mother, Grace Broveron, and the daughter, Adelaide Broveron. Grace is the leader of the family, and as such is the Oligarch.
On top of her duties as an Oligarch, Grace captains the Goldenshield Guardhouse and its naval forces. Meanwhile, Adelaide is captains the Brozeshield Guardhouse and its functions, including the raising and lowering of Korosa's watergate.
Culture
The Broveron family is Reishi's oldest, as Grace came to settle the island with the original groups. Throughout most of that time, the Broverons have led the city's defenses, but only in the last war game did they enter and, with Adelaide at the helm of their ship, win a position on the council.
Public Agenda
The Broveron family does now what it always has: it protects Reishi Island. They make very few political plays other than those that directly benefit the guard force, such as their (somewhat reluctant) acquisition of the Steelfoam Smithy from the Andires family and the acceptance of the Two-doubloon Horde from the Vernilets.
Assets
As an Oligarchic family, the Broverons have a sixth of the idyllic Citadel Armarantha to themselves, but they also own an ancestral home in the Taylan district should they ever lose their position on the council. They are also the owners of both of the city's guardhouses, Steelfoam Smithy, and the Two-doubloon Horde adventuring guild.
