She is a member of the Westgate council, where her assertiveness and headstrong nature have earned her both admiration and opposition from her peers. Lorelei's mother, Thistle Thalavar, was a beloved member of the council known for her kindness and compassion. They polymorphed her into an owlbear and placed her in a cage at Fredrick's Marvelous Carnival of Wonder in their attempt to find Mazel Analith, who Lorelei had hidden. Lorelei was eventually recused by the party as they were able to restore her and free herself from the cage, but the experience left her shaken and wary of the dangers that lurk in the shadows of her city. Despite this, Lorelei remains undaunted in her quest to uncover the truth about her mother's death and to protect the people of Westgate from harm.

General Physical Condition
Lorelei Thalavar is a striking human female, with an air of both youth and wisdom about her. Despite being in her fifties, she appears much younger, with smooth, unlined skin and bright, lively eyes that betray her age. Her hair, a blend of brown and blonde, is usually worn in a long braid that cascades down her back.
