Roshan Class Cruiser

The Roshan cruisers of the Hadaalin Navy have been in use, and remained a mainstay in the navy for nearly 100 years. They were first invented by Hadaalin in the efforts to subdue the advance of the Drinuvarian Kingdom during The Conquest of the Crowanmar Mountains. Their ability to win engagements against smaller ships in larger numbers won them the feared reputation they have today. They bring to bear an impressive arsenal of weaponry. Typically crewed by a large, and veteran, contingent of spelldrivers who operate and fight the ship with vicious efficiency.
Decks. The roshan has 3 lower decks and 1 upper half deck on the bow and stern of the ship.
Ceilings. The ceilings in the lower decks, holds, and cabins are 8 feet high with 6-foot high doorways.
Doors. The ship's doors are made of wood and have AC 15, 18 hit points, and immunity to poison and psychic damage. A lock can be picked with a successful DC 15 Dexterity check made using thieves' tools, or the door can be forced open with a successful DC 20 Strength (Athletics) check.
Light. Hanging lanterns cast bright light throughout the ship.
Rigging. Rigging on the ship can be climbed without an ability check.
Hull. The ship's hull is 350 ft long and 60 ft wide. Made of sturdy hardwoods and metals.

Example Roshan Crew

A Roshan cruiser requires a large amount of crew to operate at a minimal combat level. Due to its large array of weaponry, a large number of gunners and spelldrivers are required. The typical crew for a Roshan cruiser includes the following:
One captain
Five other officers: a first mate, a bosun, a quartermaster, a medic, and a cook
Six spelldrivers
Forty sailors
Twenty soldiers

Power Generation

A Roshan Cruiser is powered by a large Sordalite crystal which provides lift and power for the ships many systems.

Propulsion

The ship is propelled by 7 propeller engines, mounted 3 on each side of the ship and one on the stern.

Weapons & Armament

The Roshan Cruiser packs a heavy punch and is armed with 24 deck mounted cannons, fitted with 12 on each side of the ship. In addition to this there are 4 Ballistae mounted on the deck of the forecastle. If these armaments were not enough the Roshan is also equipped with a Spell cannon on each side of the bow.
