Markus Feltum

Markus Feltum is a Professor at the Iron Ring University, officially the master of Histories and Illusion magics. A friendly, calm and naïve middle-aged mage, Feltum is not a member of the Iron Rings council.

Appearance

Markus Feltum is a human male in his late 20's with a scruffy unkept beard and long curly brown hair. He has a common but friendly face and ocean blue eyes.
He wore large baggy burgundy pants complimented by robes of the same colour and a dark blue shirt which fell as low as his upper thigh. Around his neck was an Iron Pendant in the shape of a skysoaring tower surrounded by a ring.

Activities

Markus was born in the city of Olvistand to a pair of well off human parents, he had two older siblings, Olvin and Lucia (Who would later become the mistress of Sealord Regardis Ameth and mother of Kysn Ameth.) As the third child he was unlikely to inherit much from his parents, but his passion wasn't in trade, instead in magic. After learning some basic cantrips from a local mage, he was sent to the Iron Ring University to hone his skills.
Markus immediately transitioned from being a student to working for the guild. After a brief stint at the Iron Ring Consulate at Olvistand, placed there for his family ties to the Sealord, he returned to the University to become the teacher for Illusions, soon also followed by Histories.
In 195MR a group of individuals, mostly students from his class, discovered Luminus Sephrin's conspiracy and defeated the Drow Teacher. In the process three beams of chaotic magic struct different points of Pavaeria, Markus travelled to Port Larm to make sure that the humans there did not turn to the necromancers of Obrus for help against whatever magic the beam of purple fire had done to the Forgotten Isle.
