Arch Imp
Arch Imps are the second evolutionary stage of the devil lineage. They are born from imps, after exposure to a small amount of concentrated dark energy.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Arch imps, after their evolution, have grown to the size of a human child or a dwarf, standing roughly three to four feet tall. Their horns have become somewhat larger, and hardened from the small cartilaginous ones they had before, into something more akin to goat horns, made of keratin. Their wings have and tail have, naturally, grown to match. They now have fully developed humanoid hands and feet as well, giving them more dexterity and skill in handling objects and tools. One might mistake an arch imp for an alice at first glance, however they lack any of the innate aura that activates the parental impulse to protect.
Growth Rate & Stages
Much like their transition from imp to arch imp, the arch imp must undergo some kind of personal growth or achievement before, somewhere in Hell, there will be a cache of dark energy hidden somewhere for them to absorb and evolve with. They will then evolve into a lilim or luciem, depending on gender. Lilim are female, luciem are male.
Becoming a lilim/luciem comes with a new challenge; ignoring their libido. Lilim and luciem are the most difficult stage to evolve from, due to an abnormally high increase in sex drive. The new cache of dark energy is somewhere in Hell for them to evolve into full devils, from the very moment they become a lilim/luciem. However, they have to ignore their newly increased libido long enough to search for it. A significant amount of lilim and luciem never make it past this stage, and often hide away in far corners of Hell, keeping to themselves and doing nothing but having intercourse, day in, day out, never interacting with any other imps, arch imps, or devils. In recent years, devils have derogatorily given this collection of abandoned lilim/luciem a name: The Horde.

Even as arch imps, they still serve devils, in order to learn more about the world around them, and for protection. The devils are happy with this arrangement just the same as having regular imps around.
