Lilim and luciem are the third evolution in the devil lineage. They are known for their extraordinarily powerful libido, and tendency to engage in sexual intercourse with anything that moves.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Lilim and luciem are somewhat different from their previous arch imp form. The most noticeable change is that their sclera have become more prominent, and have turned a startling black. Their irises turn any number of varying bright colors, such as yellow, purple, green, red or blue. Their ears are decidedly pointed, which, while rare among devils, imps, and arch imps, is standard for lilim and luciem.

Genetics and Reproduction

A lilim or luciem is born when an arch imp evolves. If the arch imp is female, they will become a lilim. If the arch imp is male, they will become a luciem. Like other members of the devil lineage, lilim and luciem are sterile.

Growth Rate & Stages

Lilim and luciem, upon evolving as such, will be nearly overcome with a need to have sexual intercourse. Be it with each other, members of other species, devils, it doesn't matter. Their libido is completely insatiable during this stage in their life, and while the next cache of dark energy is available somewhere in Hell immediately upon their evolution, the challenge and personal growth required at this point is clear to all denizens of Hell. In order to find it, they must resist their basest of urges. Many lilim and luciem never move past this stage, and disappear somewhere deep into Hell, content to live their lives this way for all eternity. For every devil, there are at least fifty or so lilim who never make it.
In recent years, devils have begun derogatorily referring to these lost lilim and luciem as The Horde. There is an ironclad rule in Hell: "No lilim or luciem are ever to leave, under any circumstances. Use any means necessary to stop them, including lethal force." Those that do make it past the lilim or luciem stage are considered the most determined and strong-willed of the bunch, and are warmly welcomed as full devils from that point forward. Those who enjoyed their time as a lilim or luciem choose to become succubi or incubi.
Due to the nature of lilim and luciem, arch imps who had been serving under a devil, and then transformed, are sent away, often forcibly, until they advance to the next evolutionary stage.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

When a succubus or incubus is too lazy to go out and feed in the mortal world, they simply find a group of lilim and luciem, and hide nearby, feeding from a distance, then leave when they're satisfied. It's an acceptable solution if, for some reason, it is too dangerous to leave Hell.

Facial characteristics

Lilim and luciem, unlike their other evolutionary counterparts, have black sclera and their irises can be any color. They also have pointed ears. They retain the pointed teeth they had in their arch imp form.
