Red Cat Brewery
History
The Red Cat Brewery is a brewery in Cl. Hathera Vicary in Larfleur. The brewery was built on the south bank of the River Lar. The water for the brewing was sourced from wells dug inside the brewery rather than from the water of the Lar. The Brewery supplied beer that was shipped by sea to trading posts of Larian Mercantilist Empire. The beer of the brewery was famous for its strength, which came from the high levels of preservatives needed to keep the beer drinkable during ocean voyages.
The main building facing the river was five storeys tall and built in brick. The subsidiary buildings were three storeys and contained semi-basements. The roof of the main building was designed to act as a water tank and was made of cast iron plates. The brewery was marked by two red sandstone cats flanking its iron-gated entrance.
