Aylin Jung
Youngest Daughter of the famed Jung family of the Court of Hoof and Claw, Aylin’s life was full of lavish parties, arts, and meddling. The Jung family is a long lineage that originated in the material plane but has since migrated into the feywild a few centuries ago. They have quickly taken to the fey court life and become esteemed members of the Court of Hoof and Claw, who constantly had a finger in everyone’s business.
Aylin was the youngest of the Jung family, she unlike her older three siblings didn’t much take for the theatrics of court for some time. She instead found herself interested in adventure and stories preferring a more chaotic way of life not one of scheming and plotting. Over time Aylin conformed to her family’s wishes taking part in family traditions of art and performance, however, Aylin kept a spark of rebellious fire occasionally creating little sparks of chaos.
One such day Aylin was fleeing the scene of a prank pulled on her older sister Olivia. Giggling, she fled deep into the forest as fast as she could, and to her surprise she found herself running into Emperor Elias Alastai who also appeared to be running somewhere unknown. The two quickly hid together from their pursuers and this meet cute moment was what would blossom their relationship. The pair were enchanted with each other and began secretly courting one another, stealing moments away from the prying eyes of their families and the court. Despite the risks and disapproval, their love only deepened as did their thrill for adventure.
However, their romance faced numerous obstacles, not least of which was the meddling of Aylin's family. The Jung family, deeply entrenched in the traditions and politics of the Court of Hoof and Claw, viewed Aylin's infatuation with the Emperor as a reckless and ill-advised endeavor with an outsider. She did not trust for a moment that the Emperor was genuine nor that Aylin would make a good Empress.
Yuri Jung especially did not approve of the match at all, with almost a personal vendetta against the entire idea. The Jungs attempted to break apart the match using their reliable antics to create court drama, they attempted adding other love rivals - only for anyone they threw into the race to eventually side with the couple admiring their love. They attempted miscommunication and altering letters - only for them to simply meet in person and resolve the issue. They even attempted their solve-all solution of giving Aylin and Elias amnesia - only for them to fall in love again!
Frustrated the family was all but ready to give up until Aylin confessed that she and Elias were betrothed. The Jung family pulls all the strings they can muster. They forge evidence and present to Aylin that should their romance continue it would harm not only their family but Elias as well, as they create a false prophecy claiming that if Aylin does not meet her perfect match she and her false love will become cursed and transformed into demons to be cast out of the fey courts. They proceeded to gaslight gatekeep girlboss and make Aylin doubt if their relationship was just a passing fancy for them both.
Aylin did not wish to believe them but when her mother claimed that the same thing happened to her own sister who had all but disappeared, Aylin was convinced. Fearing for their future Aylin met with Elias on the night they were to elope and broke off the engagement, and both of their hearts.
The Jung family was victorious and jumped to action quickly silencing rumors of their engagement as they began to push her towards a more on-her-level suitable match such as the valiant knight Sir Theodore from within their own country and encouraged her to befriend the youngest daughter of the Unseelie, Princess Morrigan.
Surprisingly during her time courting Theodore, she found in him a beacon of support that encouraged her to find herself away from the Court and her family. With encouragement and her newfound friend Aylin formally leaves the Court of Hoof and Claw and finds refugee in the Court of the Unseelie as Princess Morrigan’s tutor where she remained until this year new Bloom with rumors of her former lover becoming open to courting once more she cannot help but wonder if she could win his heart again.

Aylin was pushed into a courtship with Sir Theodore by her mother after her engagement was broken. They became friends and Theodore encouraged Aylin to leave the Court of Hoof and Claw if she was unhappy there.
