Morrigan Crowspire was born under the veil of perpetual twilight in the heart of the Unseelie Court, the shadowed realm of the Feywild. As a member of the fey nobility, she was destined for a life of intrigue, manipulation, and the pursuit of power. Her mother, the Queen of Air and Darkness, ruled the Unseelie Court with an iron will, and Morrigan's upbringing reflected the court's essence.
Her journey took an unexpected turn when she befriended Orpheus, from the Court of Hoof and Claw. They were inseparable, sharing stories and secrets amidst the veiled schemes of their courts. However, Morrigan unknowingly betrayed Orpheus in a political maneuver that left their friendship shattered.
In the aftermath, Morrigan discovered the truth, her older sister, Princess Suntar, had orchestrated the whole betrayal in order to sabotage Morrigan's rise and eliminate Orpheus as a potential ally. This severed Morrigan's loyalty to her sister, and she became determined to outmaneuver her and claim the crown for herself.
Seeking solace in the aftermath of betrayal, Morrigan found an unexpected ally in Aylin Jung. Aylin, having left the Court of Hoof and Claw due to personal turmoil, shared Morrigan's pain and became both a confidante and a mentor. The two forged a bond rooted in shared loss and aspirations beyond the court's web of shadows.
Morrigan, despite her ambitious facade, harbors a soft spot. In the recesses of her heart, she secretly yearns for genuine connection and love. The key to unlocking this vulnerability may lie within the enchanted halls of The Bloom.
