Creation of the Mage Association

Founding

The The Parapoptsi have grown incredibly popular, especially among the higher classes. With it, prejudices against most forms of experimental magic and--by extension--mages grew more prevalent in every-day society. To counteract these dangers, a group of affluent mages founded an organization that would offer resources and protection.

A small group of travelling mages; they were the price. Eight souls muted to grant a new generation of innovative young minds a chance to practice experimental magic with little to no rational fear of Parapoptsi extremists.

The most accurate description of their corpses would probably be "strewn", but "grotesque" is infinitely more befitting when seen through the common eye. Not even the notorious Beleford Beguile would condone such actions, and even called the violators Chazra loyalists who were sent to frame him.

In any case, the Mage Association was sorely needed, and has since been a positive influence on Flux (mostly).
