The party ultimately decided that Francesca was the candidate they wanted to vie for, and went beneath Carissa’s radar to get her unseated and Francesca into office in the Stonedeep Election. The party was gifted a key to the Embassy for their success (though they did not find this out until much later and quite unintentionally), and except for continued diplomatic and business relationships with Francesca, the party mostly lost touch with her.
Upon returning to Stonedeep besieged following the Vocantem, the party discovered that Naomi Venstrum had gotten her hands on Francesca and blackmailed her into cooperating with her demands - which included restoring power to the power plant in exchange for information about a valuable artifact. They quickly realized that Francesca had no idea how dangerous Naomi really was, and that she had accidentally put Timothy Ryder in mortal danger - a situation the party was only just barely able to defuse - and they stepped in as temporary partners with Naomi to assist Francesca in turning the power back on at the facility.
Francesca remained in Stonedeep when the party began their trek to Ambervern, stern in her resolve to bolster Stonedeep's people and defenses against the danger in the mountains to the north.
Francesca, along with most other people the party encountered in Stonedeep, is missing and unaccounted for after the soul-bombing of the city not long after the party fled the area. It is yet unknown what kind of destruction was wrought and if there were any survivors.
