Tiara

This item is one piece of an ensemble known as Ralodithius's Armor.

PROPERTIES AND SIGNIFICANCE

The tiara's magical properties are charged with electricity from the gauntlets, and these abilities will not function if they are not linked. When people in a certain radius lie, their breath turns red; the severity of the lie as perceived by the individual telling it changes the color - tiny lies are barely visible, but bigger lies are violently dark red.

The Tiara was commonly used by Soular Power in their brief stint as heads of a prison facility, primarily using it to interrogate prisoners, though it was on one occasion turned against them by Carissa Pinejumper in an attempt to determine and secure the party's loyalties.

Experimentation proved that the wearer of the tiara must also be wearing the Gauntlets, fully charged with electricity, in order for the tiara to function. Fritz was able to bypass this requirement by creating a charging pedestal for the gauntlets, essentially giving the tiara a wireless charge capacity of approximately an hour. This charging mechanism remains in the Soular Power Plant after the party fled after the Vocantem, though the gauntlets along with the rest of Ralodithius's Armor were brought along with them.
