Darian Tahage

Former Crown Prince Darian Tahage

Born as the eldest son of Emperor Albus Tahage, Darian was groomed from a young age to lead the Empire. He received extensive training in both governance and military strategy. Known for his martial prowess, Darian led many successful campaigns during the Great War, earning the respect and loyalty of the empire's soldiers.   Despite his capabilities, Darian's aggressive nature and relentless pursuit of war made his father wary of his potential to lead in a time of peace. When Albus abdicated, he chose Malik over Darian, believing Malik's diplomatic approach was better suited for the new era. This decision created a rift between the brothers, as Darian felt slighted and underappreciated.   In the years following the abdication, Darian continued to serve the Empire, albeit from a more sidelined position. He became a vocal supporter of the Military Faction, often clashing with Malik's policies of demilitarization and economic reform. Darian's frustration grew as he saw the Empire's decline, believing that a return to the old ways of conquest and strength was the only solution.   Darian's relationship with his father remained complex. While he respected Albus's decision, he could never fully accept it, feeling that he was the rightful heir to the throne. His bond with Malik is strained, marked by underlying tension and disagreement over the direction of the Empire.   Despite his frustrations, Darian remains a dedicated and influential figure within the Empire, his presence a constant reminder of its militaristic past. His leadership and combat skills are still revered, and many within the Military Faction look to him for guidance and inspiration.
