Mother of Flavio Merula, in the year 104 PR, she was killed during an attack on Fort Merula by Wem brigands of the Getha Hills. Her death had a profound effect on both her husband, Tito, and her son. Whereas Istrelaa's death caused Tito to enter into a deep depression and retreat from worldly affairs, it motivated, then 16-year-old, Flavio to study and master the arts of war in order to avenge his mother's murder at the hands of the Gethan Goblinoids.
