While carousing in Eknopolis, the group of adventurers that would eventually be known as La Compagnia Septentrionale were approached by a strange Shemitic man who only revealed his name as al-Hashmi. Presenting them with the opportunity for employment on behalf of his mysterious master, who may have links to the Collegium Arcanum, the adventurers agreed to travel to the land of Khemia to explore the tomb of the rulers of a Third Age civilization known as the Djeti in hopes of finding clues to the location of the Library of the Myrmex - a legendary place purported to hold the powerful relics of another lost civilization that rivaled the Djeti in power.
