Kalim al-Hashmi
Kalim al-Hashmi
Little is known about the man who refers to himself as "al-Hashmi". He is most likely of Shemitic origin, as he speaks Common Rexan with a pronounced Shemitic accent and spends most of his time at the Inn of the Shemites in the Nestoria Harbor district of Eknopolis. However, his ability to speak unaccented Ashkuzi, suggests that he might hail from the Xhanate instead.
Sometime in late Xidohrosius, 114 PR, he approached a group of adventurers with an offer from his 'master' to find information concerning the Lost Library of the Myrmex, which his master believed could be found somewhere in the Tomb of the Djeti. He provided the adventurers with a map of the secret Ghamadi caravan routes through the Senu Desert in Khemia, where he claimed the tomb could be found. In exchange for the information as to the tomb's whereabouts, al-Hashmi's master only requested the adventurers provide him with the location of the Library - anything else found in the tomb was the party's to keep.
