Generation 1: Air Rider

Extremely basic large scale elemental engine used in the original sky ships. Extremely inefficient, required a recharge or a new air Source chunk (roughly 4.5 kg) every 200 KM.
The Air Rider uses an air Attuned Source Crystal chunk, requiring a similarly aligned source crystal to recharge it. 
The Source Crystal chunk within the Air Rider is removeable, and ships who use it often carry replacements.

Created by Robin Freeboot, it was the first Elemental Engine ever created in the Skies. It was used to power the A1 Sparrow, the first Skyhome Sky Ship, and the first Sky Ship created in the known Skies.
