Gullinbursti
Middas the Magnificant is almost always depicited with his golden riding boar known as Gullinbursi, meaning in old Jordsvik "Golden Mane or "Golden Bristles". The boar is also sometimes refered to as Sliorugtanni, meaning "Fearsome Tooth".
According to legend Gullinbursi was formed when the 'All Father' threw a boar skin into a great furnance at his workshop as Middas worked the bellows. Shortly there after Gullinbursi leapt out the fire very much alive and squeaking. As a result the boar know has unusally stiff bristles that glow in the dark.
It is also said that Gullinbrusi is able to fly. It is unknown if this due to the power and magisty of Middas or if it is due to "Gullinbursi" own unsual and devine nature. Many sailors and fishmen have reported seeing Middas the Magnificant and Gullinbrusi standing resolute on the cliff along the headlands only to leap from the cliff only to be carried away as if on a gentle breeze into the sunset.
