King's Court
All Risi are considered to members of 'The King's Court' They all recognize the Old Risi King as their true lord and master, but they do not follow him in the way human society follows rulers. The Risi are free to live their own authentic lives in freedom. The court adminsters laws in a sense, but it does not regulate morality or social norms.
The Risi are split into two groups. Court of the Mirror Lake and Court of the Leaf.
Court of the Mirror Lake
The Risi that belong to the Court of the Mirror Lake are often kind a beautiful spirits that can often help a benefit the people of Jordsvik. They often speak and are able to communicate common people. They are usually tricksters and crave attention from humans.
Court of the Leaf
The Risi that belong to the Court of the Leaf are often malevolent towards humans. If these Risi understand human speech they almost never use it. Members of the Court of the Leaf are usually ugly or demonic from the human prespective.
Structure
The King's Court completely exists in a state of chaos. The Risi believe in total state of freedom and self expression. All though the Court of the Mirror and Court of the Leaf exist in near total contradiction they are not opposed to at odds with one another.
The Court largely exists in mocking state of the hierarchical structure of the Astaru. They love to engage in competition humans both for sport and conquest. They love tricks, clever wit, and intelligence.
Assets
The King's Champions are tools and power the king uses to influence the world. They are concepts but almost living members of his court.
