Lanista Verus is the gladiator trainer in N'jal Odger's fight pit. He believes he runs the best "school" of all of Jordsvik know as the "Family of Gladiators". He makes the decision of who is recurited and arranges training for the gladiators who fight in the Ye Old Fight Pit.

Personal history
He was a soldier all his life and a former member of the Dogs of War. Heard of N'jal Odger and willingly fought as a gladiator when he was down on his luck. He loved the excitement of the area and eventually became Lanista. Despite the high rank in the "school" and the popularity of the Ye Old Fight Pit Lanista are very poorly regarded in society.
Employment
His job is the train all new gladiators and prepare them to fight in the area. It is not only about strengh it's about being entertaining to the crowd.
Accomplishments & Achievements
He was the greatest duelist in his "class" and was promoted to Lanista by Captian Morgana.
Morality & Philosophy
He has no morals at all. He he wants is to fight and earn money.
