Tension in Kerfohn

The party traveled to Kerhofn Hall in secret and learned that the army is massing. There are two groups of soldiers. Professional soldiers known as The Black Crows and enlisted soldiers known as the Red Hand Conscripts.   The party decided to compete in the Ye Old Fight Pit in an attempt to win an audience with N'jal Odger.

The party arrived in Kerhofn Hall in secret. After a bit of investigation they learned that the city is a boiling point of tension.   N'jal Odger seems to be massing an army for some civil conflict and his army is split into two factions. The Black Crows are the professional soldiers while the Red Hand Conscripts have been forcibly drafted into military service. Niether group particularly likes N'jal Odger. The Black Crows use him as a source of power and corruption while the Red Hand Conscripts compeled to serve.   The party also learned of a bandit known as Rain who has been operating as rebel in town. Rain is the leader of the Ashen Rose. The party attempted to contact Rain, and met an informant named Kali who said they would need to prove themselves before she introduces them to Rain. They can do that by finding a way to contact N'jal Odger and finding out what he's up to.   The party decided to compete in the Ye Old Fight Pit as a way to win an audience with N'jal Odger. Within the fight pit them met the animals which are used in the competition. They met the leader of the animals known as the Lord of the Mountain who is not happy being in captivity. The animals agreed to assist the party any way they can.
