M2E2 - Berika's First Prophecy
As you approach the Seer' tent you are great with an earthy smell of incent and wood spoke. The tent itself is built from natural twine, hides, brush. Throughout the tent is adorned with various accoutrements varying from carved statuettes of animals and ancient heroes as well a large array of spices, dyes, and paints all made from earthy tones. Near the fire stands a drow woman perhaps no more than 24 years of age leaning on a wood staff. She wears a robe and her face is painted with intricate tribal patterns. It's been said that she has the gift of prophecy to which allows her to read the future, the present, but more importantly the long past. She bids you enter leaving you weapons and cloaks at the door saying, "You've come so that I can see your 'True Self' some the the trappings of civilization behind as you enter. Tell me what questions have you brought for the 'Seer'?"Berka the 'Seer'is a great 'Seer' and regarded as very wise despite her young age. She is regarded as a prophetess. She's gift of prophecy allows her to read the future, by viewed the long past. According to ancient Jordsvik tradition when the Life Soul and the Free Soul are reunited the body is then created and the fallen lives again. Berka the 'Seer' claims to be able to see into the True Self of a person, and as such she is able to predict how a person will act in the future. Group Prophecy

"I see you being tormented, tormented by one who is long dead. Far more powerful and troublesome than most. I see your foe gazing upon you all with hate an contempt. Freezing your souls I see like ice. I see him rising again from the snow, and a great battle ensuing. You're deeds will be told by the Skalds for generations and generations without number, and you will gain great fame. Is it a story of trumph that the Skalds will tell or one of great tradedy and loss I cannot say, but you will earn great reknown and will be remembered for all generations to come."

"You are not what you seem. Certainly not what they think. How can a man wear so many masks? Some literal some metaphorical? Regardless, as for your future I see you rising to great hieghts. And when you rise you will bring these ones with you. Oh yes, great heights, maybe even above Mt Karon, or even above the crest of the world itself. Ironic, you will rise so high just to dig in to the earth. Every man shall have control of his wealth until his fated death day. But there is a time for each of us to die. You will find a treasure, but not the treasure you seek. Be bold in your hardship for it is yours to bear, and you are responsible for it and no one else. This prophecy I tell, and speak it as truth."

"You are hard to see. By most atleast but not all. You hide so well not even magic can find you I think. Atleast most magic that much is certain. But those with the power of the evil eye you must fear most. They can see through all your hidding places in to your very heart, and their magic will shake you to your core. Your destiny I now foretell, there is one who will torment all of your company, but you most of all. I see your mind being seperated, torn assunder like like paper. I see a shadow hiding, lurking, and waiting. You must overcome your inner darkness or you will never find rest. Do so and it will become your strength. This I foretell."

"Questions, question, so many questions. You spend so much time asking questions to fail to take the time to provide any answers. You seek to improve yourself, but at what cost? Sometimes a secret kept can be more dangerous than a mystery revealed. You know of what I speak. They will come for you as well. You cannot escape your fate any more than you can escape your past. Despite all that you've learned you must be hard of body and of mind if you are to survive. You must prepare now without delay. For it is a rare for a prisoner to be bold in battle. Be not a prisioner of your own mind, but live that all people may no that you are free. And is my final advice, seek the wisdom of the Golden Boar. In this is your only salvation. This I have forseen and much more, Malcor Keeper of the Red Book."

"Telo.... my.... with a past like yours is it possible to have a future? How will the Skalds have time to tell it all of your story? Are you greedy to want to much reknown? I can't blame you. Who would settle for less when they can have more... How do the @nor decide which child is to be born to which mother and to which father? I can see that you are son of a war-like father. But are father and son the same? Who can say. As for your foretelling I see your fate joined with those in your company but also.... not. I see you standing alone in a cave along the sea. The tide is quickly coming in. It is your destiny. The sea is full of darkness and fury. Your fate is the same. I know that you do not want to hear my advice, but wait on the land until you see the ocean coming or else you will drown. You are not the first to have walked this path. Seek the one who they say brings the storm in even summer. He holds the key to your destiny, as I declared so it shall be."
