Draconus Shade explained that a monster was acting the local towns people. He asked Aestros to escort Abby to Gerin's Glutch to find mushrooms and herbs to make poisons to healing items to combat the monster. Draconus Shade asked Aestros to be mentor for Abby and show her the right way.

Draconus Shade explained that there is a contact opened by the local towns people about a creature that has been breaking the bones of the people on the shore of Westford Lake as if the people have been crushed in a bear hug. The towns people began calling the beast the Black Lake Mother.   Draconus Shade explained that his organization has plans to hunt and kill the creature but he needs some poisons and medicine to help with this effort. He asks if the party can escourt Abby to collect the necessary ingrediants.   Abby is very young and overly enthusastic. Draconus Shade explains that she needs mentor to show her the right way. Aestros seems to be up for the job.   When the party arrives at Gerin's Glutch they find an ancient ruins with both signs of human and Risi habitation. Volk finds a secret snow drift with a deep hole in the earth.   When the party makes it the bottom of the sinkhole the Black Lake Mother bursts through the walls and water begins rushing in.
