The Mind Terrors of Galoth

The party defeated Galoth's illusions and learned he was terrified that the Cult of Howling Hatred may return to the school and harm his students. He gave them a golden comb that the party believes belongs to the goddess Selif. Selif may be able to decipher Midas' notes.

When the party ascended to the top of The Tower of Knowledge and found that the light house was not damaged, but rather deliberately turned off. Galoth lost control of his mind and summon five illusionary dragons which attacked the party.   After defeating the dragons the party learned that he was extremely stressed because he was afraid that the Cult of Howling Hatred would killed another one of his students so he disabled the light house in an attempt the hide the school.   Galoth gave the party a magic comb that belonged to a divine being of great wisdom who may be able to decipher Midas notes. After discussing it with Father John the party believes the owner of the comb is Selif.
