Selif is a giantess. The oldest daughter of the Old Risi King. She is also the goddess of archery, skiing, wheat, hearth, and single combat.
Selif’s golden hair, which symbolized her connection to the warmth of the hearth and sometimes the harvest of grain. As such her believed to be a fire sorceress.
She was known to be very vain about its beauty.

Artifacts

The people of Jordsvik refer to gold strands as the hairs Selif, and their arm ring jewlery is usually braid as it it is her hair.

Very little is known about Selif's history, but she is one of the chief members of the Astaru pantheon. Gorr is often first introduced as Selif's husband. This is of other gods/goddesses which are introduced based on their relationship to Selif.

According legends and the people of Jordsvik Selif is sometimes seen walking in the wheat fields gently combing her hair. These strange sightings are followed by a good harvest.
