Klao (CLOW)

Klao is the language currently spoken by the klatuut and in the past by fauns; it is sometimes less accurately called "Old Faun".   Due to fauns being one of the first species to mingle to any significant degree with humans, Mesik contains elements of Klao.   Shekoldahn, spoken by the eisorcei, has its roots in the Klao linguistic tree. This suggests that at some point in their mutual prehistories -- possibly in the klatuut's migration down the Laqalney River to the deltas of Seyis-Gol -- that the klatuut taught Klao to the eisorcei.
