Rupert Ganglion

Rupert is the epitome of the "crusty old salt". He is old, curmudgeonly, and slow, but he is also the only carpenter The Miranda has, so the rest of the crew is rather stuck with him.  He is not a true craftsman, because otherwise Captain Lampert wouldn't have been able to swing getting him on the crew, but the downside to that is the fact that the enhancements of the ship have been slowly decaying, without someone with the proper skill to keep them up present on board.  The ship still functions as a boat, and still has a couple of the enhancements common to quality creations in the Funhouse, but it does not have nearly as many bells and whistles as it did when it first set sail.
